HOW TO APPLY- easy to apply
Sprinkle the dust from head to tail along the spine and brush against the hair to bring the dust into contact with the skin. This should be done when the fur or skin is dry. A little goes a long way. The powder is very fine.
 
For a small dog or cat: approximately 1 - 2 teaspoons would cover neck, back, legs and underside.
 
Increase this amount for larger dogs, cats or other animals.
 
Reapply at least once per week if there is a heavy infestation
 
Maintenance application: re-apply monthlydon't over-apply as the drying nature of this natural product can also effect skin hydration.  You will know if you over-apply this product because you will see the granules clearly throughout the fur. 
 
REAPPLY after your pet gets wet.
 
OTHER APPLICATIONS: Apply to bedding, furniture, carpet, floors, car, truck, outside and inside the home.  It is safe for children and animals. Make sure to sweep into all of the above to ensure good coverage to help remove flea eggs and larvae, mites and other soft-bodied insects.  No need to vaccuum at any specific point after application, but make sure you leave it on the surface for a minimum of 48 hours before vacuuming.
Horses and large animals:One to two ounces is enough to dust a large herbivore (e.g. a horse). The dust should cover the saddle to midlateral.
